The tax
rate shows the effective overall rate of taxation which the
company provides against its reported pre-tax profit. It is
based on the unadjusted pre-tax profit for both pre-FRS3 and
post-FRS3 results. Therefore, tax rate figures for periods before
and after FRS3 may not always be comparable.
