It
is clearly of interest to know the best-performing shares
in each of the indices each month. The first right-hand
column therefore lists companies according to their relative
strength over the past month.The
second column shows relative strength over three months
to enable the two figures to be compared easily. The one-year
relative strength is shown in the standard market statistics
to the left.
The
one-month relative strength table is very dynamic and up-todate.
It gives an early indication that something may be happening
to a company even if it is not yet obvious from the fundamentals.
Cross-checking the one-month relative strength figure with
the three-month figure may provide further evidence that
a new trend is developing.
